Chantal

Chantal is a retired military officer and was raised in Estrie, Quebec. She has a personal daily Ashtanga practice, which also plays the role of a moving meditation. After a 27-year career in Health Care Services, she recently discovered a passion for yoga. 

She believes that yoga is not only a practice to unite body & mind in harmony, but also an approach to life for all aspects of living, including her inner spiritual life and her relations with others. For her, practicing yoga has also the potential to open doors that can lead one beyond a current state of egocentric state of being to a full state of communion.

She is a proud mother of three: one now adult and two teenagers. Outside yoga, Chantal enjoys reading, connecting with nature, and travelling. She is always looking for new opportunities of travelling to learn from others’ ways of living.
