Our program offers a hybrid of in person learning at the studio, live sessions via zoom and pre-recorded videos.

Teaching, Training and Practice
Here you’ll develop the guts of your own practice. Those looking to become a yoga teacher, will have the experiential knowledge of embodying their practice to inform and create powerful offerings. Learn basic hands on adjustments to cultivate a deeper level of understanding how your own body and others move in space. You will be participating in self practice and guided practice throughout our program, however these 100hrs are designed to expand your growing edge in asana, pranayama and other yoga techniques.

Yoga Philosophy
In our quest for greater self awareness discover the 8 limbs of yoga. Through journaling and open discussion we practice our critical thinking skills, active listening and non violent communication. You can expect to read translations of ancient texts The Bhagavad Gita and The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, in group discussion we will dissect the main insights of the teachings.
Through guided and self guided meditations practitioners are able to have an inner body experience that enriches our expanding practice on and off the mat. Enjoy a full day of learning practical meditation tips and techniques with our iRest certified teacher.
Learn introductory level subtle anatomy, exploring the cakra system, nadis and the energy that moves through us.

Anatomy and Physiology
At the heart of becoming a skillful yoga teacher is a deep understanding of the human body – how it moves, how it grooves and why. In our program we’ll use various tools and imagery to learn about our bones and tissues. You will develop an expertise in how the muscles and joints work in relation to the practice and teaching of yoga. With a greater awareness of what is happening at an anatomical and physiological level when we practice yoga, we can teach from a place of intelligence in a way that benefits all students.

Teaching Methodology
Becoming a skillful yoga teacher is an art. You will learn how to effectively communicate while teaching, address specific needs of individuals and intelligently sequence classes. From your in depth study of the 5 major groups of asana you will have a thorough understanding of biomechanics and body alignment. By exploring various styles of practice and methods of teaching, students will find their voice as a teacher and confidently lead their peers through prepared classes. We will study the structure of a room and how to balance your use of demonstrations, assists and observations when teaching.
