We are a community of passionate teachers and practitioners dedicated to movement, mindfulness and connection. Nestled in the heart of downtown Pembroke, you'll find us down the charming Courtyard Bistro Alley, a quiet passageway that invites you to slow down and breathe deeply before unrolling your mat. We believe the practice of Yoga is more than just movement, it is a practice of presence, compassion and community. Our mission is to create a brave space for you to connect with you body, mind and spirit.
You can also practice with me anytime through my YouTube channel, where I share on-demand yoga and mindfulness videos to help you stay connected, wherever you are.
This studio has been a part of my life for many years, and building this new website has been a heartfelt project. I created it myself as a reflection of what White Pine Yoga truly is — a bright, welcoming space for movement, mindfulness, and community in the Ottawa Valley.
HI THERE, I’M maegan
These friendly guidelines are to help ensure that each and every student enjoys their time at White Pine Yoga.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before class, this allows time to sign in and prepare for class. The doors are locked once class commences, latecomers are not permitted.
Help keep our floors clean by removing your foot attire at the front door in the coat room.
Please feel free to chat with friends, teachers, and fellow students in the lounge area, if you see that our Massage Therapist Paige has her treatment sign up please chat quietly. The practice room is a silent space as many students use this time for reflection and meditation.
Turn cell phones to silent and refrain from bringing them in the practice room.
If you are new to yoga, have an injury, medical condition or are pregnant please inform the teacher prior to class commencing. Our classes are open to all adults 18 years and up. Youth 14 and up may attend regular temperature classes with a parent or legal-age caregiver; Youth 16 and up may attend regular temperature classes on their own with written consent of a parent or caregiver.
Please help keep the studio clean. Place used tea cups on the 2nd shelf of the tea station. Used cloths can be placed in the appropriate bin after use or hung on the rack to dry. If you have borrowed a studio mat please wash and dry it before rolling it up and placing back in the basket.

I wanted to get back into my yoga practise following an injury so I tried the 2 week intro plan. I was able to experience many different classes that I normally would not try and the plan also gave me opportunity to meet many of the instructors. I found the studio to be clean and inviting. The staff are very friendly and qualified to lead classes with a lovely balance of strength and gentleness. A special thanks to Duane and Maegan for all their support in helping me build back my confidence to practise again. Thanks to all.

I have been attending White Pine Yoga since I moved to the area. I came from the city, and was worried about finding a new space to practice in - White Pine Yoga did not disappoint. They have a wide range of classes available, and fantastic teachers. My favourite part is how welcoming the community at WPY is; I’m a shy individual but feel very comfortable in this space. I highly recommend checking out White Pine Yoga - you won’t regret it!

White Pine Yoga has truly become a second home to me over the past year. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt welcomed by the warmth and positivity that radiates from both the space and the people. The instructors are not only incredible teachers but also a source of constant inspiration. In just a short time, I’ve grown in ways I never expected, learning more about myself and how to approach life with greater gratitude. I’m excited to see how my practice evolves in the years to come. This is such a special community, and I’m grateful to be part of this amazing group of yogis.
